Interim Director, Women's Services Needed in Alabama Healthcare System

The Position

  • An Interim Director of Women's Services is needed to support the operations of Women's Services, including Labor & Delivery, Mom-Baby, Nursery, and Antepartum testing.
  • This role will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and oversee a team of 60 FTEs.
  • The Interim Director will focus on recruiting and filling open positions, ensuring a balanced schedule, and improving morale among the unit. Key responsibilities also include stabilizing the department and transitioning the nursery back to Level 2 status.
  • The ideal candidate will be a dedicated leader with experience in women's services, strong recruiting skills, and the ability to meet minimum requirements and boost team morale.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active RN license required.
  • Previous healthcare experience required.

Pay Details

  • Pay Range: $150,000 - $165,000 annually. 
  • Final pay rate is dependent upon experience, education, training, and location.
