English Teacher

The English Teacher will be responsible for managing classroom activities and ensuring positive educational outcomes for students. The position involves collaborating with the teaching team, creating a nurturing environment, and maintaining communication with parents.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching and Curriculum Development: Apply Multiple Intelligences theory, design innovative activities, and enhance the existing curriculum.
• Child Safety and Welfare: Ensure a safe and supportive environment, oversee student assessments, and maintain student journals.
• Team Collaboration: Mentor support teachers, participate in staff meetings, and collaborate on the school's success.
• Classroom Management: Manage the classroom budget, monitor supplies, and assist in evaluating the teaching team's performance.
• Professional Development: Stay updated in the field, promote continuous learning among colleagues, and assist in identifying training needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Education, preferably in early childhood.
• Experience: At least 2 years in a kindergarten setting, native English speaker preferred.
• Skills: Strong teaching, leadership, and communication skills. Experience with different cultures and family dynamics is an asset. Bilingualism (English and Mandarin) is advantageous.
