China-Arab Research Center for Culture and Tourism Cooperation (Arab Studies Center) at Beijing International Studies University (BISU)

Unit Profile:
The China-Arab Research Center for Culture and Tourism Cooperation (Arab Studies Center) at BISU is a recognized think tank in the China Think Tank Index (CTTI). With the journal Arab Studies (CSSCI) as its publication, the Center focuses on research concerning Arab countries and the Arab region, China-Arab cultural and tourism cooperation, and promoting international exchanges and cultural activities. We are now recruiting Arab experts internationally to contribute to our ongoing development.

Available Positions: 3-4

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage in Chinese-Arabic translation and research on Arab countries and the region.
• Participate in planning and implementing China-Arab culture and tourism cooperation projects.
• Promote in-depth development of China-Arab cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation.

Job Requirements:

1. Native Arabic speaker.
2. Relevant academic background with a PhD (or a Master’s with high-quality research).
3. Proficiency in Arabic and Chinese; English is an advantage.
4. Strong research and communication skills.
5. Minimum of two years of relevant work experience (waived for recent Master’s/PhD graduates).
6. Healthy, under 60 years old.
