Job Summary

The Robot Operator will join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit and weld products to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints for proper welding using hand-held MIG torch or robotic welding equipment.
• Ensure welded parts meet blueprint requirements.
• Assist in various duties such as material handling, housekeeping, and safety committee activities.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in a welding-related role (preferred).
• Ability to use measuring equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading shop drawings and welding basic products using GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
• Basic knowledge of welding symbols and concepts.
• Ability to set up a welding machine based on the Welding Procedure Specification for the job.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform intermittent bending, lifting, stooping, reaching, walking, and squatting.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Compensation

• Hourly Pay Rate: $26 - $28 per hour.
